Great looking running boards for our 2017 Silverado Double Cab, 2WD
They look great on the truck. Wife wanted steps on our 2017 2WD Silverado so this is what we went with. Took 1.5 hours to get the driver fitted and .5 for passenger. Make sure to have a set of vice grips with you, 3 mount locations on the pinch weld fit great, last (end) leaves a gap and vise grips can close the gap to ensure the bolt engages the clip nut. If the 8mm bolts were 1/2" longer this wouldn't have been an issue. Only had 1 location where I couldn't install a bolt, 3rd bracket back on drivers side, bolt hole in body where the nut plate goes. First bracket on drivers side, welded nut plate had to be modified to fit properly because of body panel stamp. Other than that, not to bad on installation.

They look fantastic. With a little help from my sons with mounting the first few holes, I was able to tighten the remaining holes. They completely serve their purpose in making it easier for me to get me in and out. I’m only 5’2” and this is my first full-size truck. I don’t even think it’s lifted that high if at all. The finish and welds look very sturdy. I’ve read the reviews on the squeaking and I’ll come back in a few months to update. So far so good. The only negative I would write about them is the 3rd bracket back on the driver side should be flipped the opposite direction. There is a big hole and 2 smaller holes and the bracket is flipped in the direction that makes it almost impossible to mount because of the truck’s existing hardware. If it was flipped the opposite direction, there is another small hole that would’ve lined up perfectly. So right now that particular hole isn’t mounted, only the bottom part of the 3rd bracket is secured. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase

So I just installed today, took me about a hour by myself. I got these as used but like new condition from amazon. Amazon did a great job of double boxing this item. And getting it to me safely
Now for the item:
First impression was that these things are heavy and feels durable. They gave my truck a really nice look in my opinion, and does offer some relief getting in and out of a 3 inch lifted truck. They are very strong once mounted. I was able to stand on it and jump up and down without a single budge.
Directions are kinda all over the place but offer enough info to get it installed..the hardest part of install was lifting up the thing while trying to get the very first bolt to line up and screw in. If you have someone or something to prop up one side you would probably have a easy time. I didn’t do that I just wrestled with it for a min.
Over all I’m very pleased with the product and would recommend it to someone that is thinking about getting it.
